The Carolina Panthers will hold their pre-season training camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, from July 29 through August 18. Wofford College has hosted the training camp since 1995. Panthers' owner and founder Jerry Richardson can be a Wofford alumnus. The team uses the Richardson Exercises Building, which has weight rooms, locker rooms, coaches' offices and meeting rooms. Practices are held at Gibbs Stadium and Snyder Area of expertise. Among the special events planned for this year's training camp are movie nights, family fun days, T-shirt days, along with the popular Panther Pals program, which possibly be expanded this year.
